Today we spent the day at Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and came across this colorful refreshment stand next to the Germany Pavilion. They are serving up Rhum frozen drinks, Haitian coffee with special liquors, beer and fruit punch (non-alcoholic). Rhum is spirit that is sweetened with freshly-squeezed sugar cane juice. It is considered to be a very smooth and rich rum. We decided on the Prestige Beer. It is known to be one of the most popular beers in Haiti. Prestige Lager is the award holder of “The World Beer Cup 2000” in the category of American Style Lager. I would describe it as a light beer and we found it to be very refreshing on a warm day.
