La Hacienda is now open in Epcot’s Mexican pavilion! Reservations won’t be accepted until after October 15th, but they are taking walk ups. For some wonderful pictures of the new restaurant please check out Disney’s official site. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2010/09/first-taste-of-la-hacienda/ The Tacos are quite tasty and the Chips and Guacamole are amazing! Mix one up with a frozen margarita and your having a great day.
On the ADR front Disney is now offering a mobile format to make dining reservations. Currently they have iPhone and Droid systems available but Blackberry will be released soon. You will be able to search for reservations by different categories: Date, time, resort, park, and type of food that may be interested in. You don’t have to download this App. Mobile Apps for Disney? Yes, it’s true. It is a Disney site made for mobile phones to easily navigate their dining system. Technology is speeding up to keep the fast pace of Disney fans!
UPDATE: Le Cellier in the Epcot Canadian Pavillion is becoming a Signature Dining restaurant next year! This is one of the hardest restaurants to dine at currently in Disney and apparently the secret is out. Many people who have tried to get a table are turned away or can wait hours. I think the status is changing because with the Disney Dining Plan available, you can easily get your monies worth here for dinner. Just the app, dinner and dessert are going to run you close to $50 per person and that is already more than the cost of the dining plan for the entire day. Guests are starting to see the value and book this place up quick. As of next year Le Cellier will be Signature status so to eat amongst the elite while you can!
